Hello everyone!  Winter is coming! A dusting of snow this past weekend, lots of crops were already harvested and even some trails mowed, mulched and marked!  We have more trail work to do, if any of you are interested please reply to this email and we will add you to our contact list when we decide to continue with trail work.  You can also watch our Facebook page for more info.  Come to the meeting as well to get more details. 

Other things to be discussed at the meeting are the Landowner Appreciation Brat Fry Nov. 21^st and 22^nd.  It will be at the Wild Boar Liquor Store parking lot. 10 a.m. until we either run out of food or we run out of customers.  If you are willing to help, sign up at this link.  https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ziTYJ2VMyqSlhq6dhh52vcgTSCQp3UrbTIKPDXodTJA/edit?usp=sharing. We will be setting up at 6 pm on Thursday the 20^th. If anyone wants to help with set up, just show up that night. 

The Club Christmas Party is December 8^th at the Brittain House. Meal details will be shared at the meeting. As in the past if you are a current member, the club will pay for ½ your meal.  Hams and Turkeys will be given out as door prizes for some lucky winners that attend. We will also have prizes for the youth that attend. Please RSVP to Wanda (920)517-5238 by December 1^st.

I have attached a membership application for those who want to fill one out and mail it back to us.  You can also visit our new website at the same old address www.waupundriftjumpers.org and renew your membership there.  Remember, when you renew there, there is still a time lapse to allow me (the club secretary) to get the renewal processed at the AWSC level.  Once I have your membership renewed at the AWSC they will send the email address on file (it is important to let me know of an email address change) a notification that the renewal has taken place.  After that, you can begin the process of getting your discounted trail passes. You can also look up your member info there at AWSC.org, click on the quick link member inquiry then you can search by your name or member ID.  Keep in mind our club is listed there as Drift Jumpers SC. Once you find your member details, you can confirm their accuracy.  If it is not correct let me know what to change.  Do you want a yellow membership card???  There is where you can print one (of course it will be the color of your paper). They no longer print the cards off and mail them to the club chairs. 

December 5^th is the 2025 Waupun Christmas Parade line up is at 5:45 and the parade is at 6:30. We will decorate the groomers and drags December 4th at 6:30 p.m. Winter Raffle is scheduled for February 28^{th ,} 2026 at The Rock in Waupun.

October 20^th, 2025 meeting

   Hello everyone, we have a club meeting coming up!   Topics at the meeting: Trails-we will be looking for volunteers to help put them in!  Our website has a new look!  Please check it out!  It is still under construction, but we sure would like to know what you think! If you haven’t renewed your membership yet, renew it online! I have also attached a membership form to this email for you. Coming Events to put on your calendar are: 11/21 and 11/22 Landowner Appreciation Brat fry at the Wild Boar Liquor Store.  10 a.m. to whenever the crowd dies down both days.  We could use some help to cook AND sell brats both days. Setup will be at 6:30 on the evening of the 20th (Thursday) if you are interested in helping to set up.   October 22^nd the Dodge County Association of Snowmobile Clubs is holding a SNARs data entry and a trail signing meeting for any member of a Dodge County snowmobile club.  If you want to learn more about signing and/or SNARs please feel free to attend.  Contact me (Butch) for more info.  December 8^th we are planning our Club Christmas party at the Brittain House in Waupun, remember if you are a current club member you can join us at the event for ½ the cost!  Our Winter Raffle fundraising event is scheduled for February 28^th at The Rock.  Raffle tickets will be available SOON!  Come to the meeting where we may have even more details of the above-mentioned events.

September Newsletter

Hello Everyone,  Well it happened again, summer flew by!  I just wanted to take this opportunity to remind you of the first club meeting!  Meetings are always the 3rd Monday of the month September through April.  This meeting is September 15th, 7 pm at the Chester Town Hall. We will have food for those who attend. Look forward to hearing about the latest involving the club, its recent acquisitions, its upcoming plans and hear how the summer fundraisers had turned out.  We are still working on the club's new website, hopefully we will have more details regarding that.  The current one is still active!  If you wish to renew your membership, you still can at the current website! Note that our membership fees have increased.  The increase is due to an increase made at the AWSC level.  It went from $12 to $17 at the state level so we are just passing on the expense.  If you wonder why the AWSC increased their rates please visit AWSC.org to learn about everything they do for snowmobiling in WI. Thanks to those of you who have already renewed. I have attached a membership form for you if you want to bring it to the meeting orif you wish to send it via USPS.  Please fill out the form if any of your info has changed so that we can keep our records current. Keep an eye on your emails and the clubs FaceBook page, we will be looking for volunteers regarding bridge/culvert repair, mowing/brushing trails and of course Hammering in trail markers.  Let's hope this year we get to ride a lot!!!
